One of my favourite things about WILD ARMS was the way each game started with a series of individual scenarios (e.g. Rudy’s story, Cecilia’s story, Jack’s story) before the characters all come together. Will Armed Fantasia do this?

It’s set as one of the stretch goals ahead!
A prologue from an individual point of view functions as a way to draw a character, such as the feelings you can express because you don’t have friends, so it’s something I really want to achieve.

Will there be horseback ridings and horseback combats?

Those options actually take a lot of money and time,
and I thought I can’t guarantee to add those options in this Kickstarter project, so I decided to do without them in the first place.
Were you perhaps expecting the battle scenes with horses?
If you were, I’m sorry for that!

Will there be summon creatures in ArmedFantasia?

There will be no Guardians setting in Londenium, the stage of Armed Fantasia.
(In other words, there is another reason other than the decline of Guardians for the world to become a wasteland.)
So, I’m sorry to tell you that there will be no Guardians this time.

Is “Pathfinder” a name of a team? or a rank of adventurers?

It is a generic term for adventurers who seek for dreams and rewards.

Do you have any keyword like “Fulcanelli” (“Emiko” in the English version) that makes Pathfinders and Candidates laugh?

I’m not considering on the appearance of Culcanelli at the moment…
But I believe that I’ve planted laugh-inducing keywords here and there!

The 6 types of ARM (gun, spear, staff, gatling gun, katana blade and fist) seem to be a rather uncommon choice, but does it have some meaning behind this in the world setting? Even though there is a tale about the “Sword Saint”, I’m also curious about the fact that more ordinary form of sword has been removed!

I wonder what the 6 common types of weapons mean.
(Does not including a sword makes it uncommon?)
Not only in games, but in anime as well, we’ve given a lot of different weapons to the main characters, but we’ve never selected them from the perspective of what is considered “generally accepted”.
There are various intentions, but the weapons used are determined by Kaneko’s intention (or my taste), “I want this character to have this weapon!”

If it’s possible to be released, please tell us the game’s theme or keyword.

Revealing the theme prior to the game release might lead players to have a strong interpretation that matches the theme.
Therefore, at some point, I decided not to reveal the theme until a certain period of time passes after the game is released.

How much have you written the scenario for ARMED FANTASIA so far? You said the story is based on an original RPG which you were planning to make in the past, but is the general storyline (such as the types of anomalies come up in this game, and the ending of the story) concrete already?

I write stories in the inductive method, so the general plan for the whole story and its ending have decided already. (It is called a plot.)
As soon as the Kickstarter project is over, I’m going to add more details to the plot and start writing the scenario based on it.

I really liked the HEX combat system in Wild Arms 4 and 5. Will ArmedFantasia use a similar presentation for its battle system?😀

I will let the person in charge know this when I have a chance.
Unfortunately, the battle will be different from that of Wild Arms 4 & 5.
However, we will give it just as much depth, and while it will be a command-based battle system, we also want to make it moderately real-time.

Have you thought of using thunders or electricity powers as its gadgets?

That sounds interesting to use electricity powers or thunders.
Now, a staff who’s in charge of making gadgets is considering about it, so I’m looking forward to see what types of gadgets they will come up with!
