February 2023 Update

Hello backers!

There were bumps along the way but all surveys have been sent out. We appreciate all your patience and the amazing moderators who have kept us abreast of the various survey issues.

Since the survey process may be new to some of you, we have put together this tutorial video to walk you through the process.

Currently we are sitting at 60% of all surveys answered. Traditionally, about 5-10% of backers don’t answer their surveys which means we may be sending out reminders about this in future updates so please bear with us.

The good news is that you can access your completed survey via your E-mail and change different options like T-shirt sizes and platform choice up until the point that we lock surveys. We don’t know exactly when that will be but we will make sure to give backers early warning about locking surveys via future updates and on discord & social media.

Survey Issues

Will coffee table art books purchased via backerkit be serialized?

Yes, they will

I purchased a tier with physical rewards but would prefer the artbook and soundtrack digitally instead.

We expect this to be a very rare request so rather than creating a survey question for it please reach out to pr@yukikaze.ltd and let us know your backer number and registered Kickstarter E-mail along with your desire to change your physical rewards to digital ones.

I purchased the Guns Undarkness add-on but don’t see a place to choose platforms anywhere.

We’ll manually reach out to backers who chose this add-on and have them choose their platform of choice there.

I choose the Special Thanks add-on for both games but want to include different names for both games. Can I?

Yes, just put Armed Fantasia followed by the Special Thanks name you want for that game, then Penny Blood followed by the different Special Thanks name you want in the free-form text box.

I ordered a game through the backerkit store but there wasn’t a place to input my Discord information to get my Discord Role

We are working on a fix for this.

My Kickstarter account was registered through AppleID. When I get updates, such as my survey, through Backerkit it is encoded and I cannot read the message. What should I do?

Backers who have backed via Apple ID have been sent the following message in English from Backerkit support:

“We need more information from you to deliver your rewards. Please fill out out your survey here: [survey link]

Note: We are reaching out via Kickstarter because we currently do not have a valid email for your pledge. This is most likely due to hiding your email address by using Sign in with Apple through Kickstarter. We recommend you reach out to support@backerkit.com to change your email in order to receive future correspondence after completing the survey linked above.

You can learn more about hiding your email when signing in with Apple here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210425

Basically, due to Apple’s E-mail hiding function, the only way to be able to receive future E-mail updates is to change your E-mail address to something that isn’t hidden. All Apple ID users should have a link in the message sent to their Kickstarter backend that allows them to access the survey.

What kind of names can I use in Special Thanks?

We request that backers use English characters when selecting their Special Thanks name. It does not have to be your real name but it cannot infringe upon a copyright, use inappropriate language or hate speech. In those instances we may not be able to include your name in the Special Thanks section.

It looks like the T-shirt size chart looks buggy on a mobile phone.

We are looking into this but for now suggest backers try to view the chart via a PC.

There is a survey question allowing backers to opt into a digital version instead of a physical one if they choose a reward tier with a physical version. Can we change digital versions into physical ones?

Unfortunately, no. This is due to the fact physical versions are more expensive than digital versions. But we do understand some backers worry about physical version shipping delays so we are offering people the chance to convert from physical to digital.

Should I include the country code in my phone number?

This is largely for shipping items but to be on the safe side, it’s always better to include your country code where possible.

When I input my address, a similar address with a different format or capitalization appears as a suggested format. Which one should I choose?

This is common on many websites. Either format is fine.

Backerkit Store:

The Backerkit store can be accessed here:

https://double-kickstarter.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

We are off to a great start and already close to one third of the way to unlocking steelbooks. That’s great for less than a month. We will be mentioning the Backerkit store via key social media channels in hopes of bringing in a few more backers so that we can unlock that add-on since we know a lot of backers have asked for it.

As always word-of-mouth is the biggest tool in our tool belt so any help in getting the word out is greatly appreciated.

Development Updates:

This month, we’ve got another project progress update from Kaneko-san.

We’re going over the plot and closely examining and visualizing just how much materials will be needed (this will continue for a while).

We’re going over the plot and have begun designing the World Map.

We’ve decided the specs for all the Gadgets.

We’ve begun coming up with dungeon gimmicks to use the Gadgets with.

We’ve started working on a white box for a new dungeon (a cave style dungeon).

We’re closely examining the skills and their customization (this will continue for a while).

We’ve begun going along with the plot and seeing how the game flow would progress (this will continue for a while).

We’ve begun writing the actual scenario.

Design

We’re still working on character designs (leaders of the Order of the Sacred Key). Two rough designs are finished.

We’ve shared a design for how ghost ships that will show up in various places will look, and how things will be set up for trains that connect the cities.

We’re also designing props that will go along with the various technology and culture throughout Londenium.

And of course, we’re still designing Anomalies.

BGM

We’re making adjustments on 10 tracks that got finished.
